Question about backup / restore G2

Search isnt working for me, I have a very easy question. I want to move gallery from one host to another. I downloaded the albums folder. When i reinstall the new G2, and I just re-upload the albums folder to the server?

Hi,

I am not able to copy my albums folder to my harddisk. I guess this doesnt work
because I am not the owner of these files (owner is the webserver) So waht should I do? Should I change chmod or install a webadmin tool and try to download my files using the admin prog?

normally even though you don't own the files you are able to read them.. if that's not the case then you can write a php script to chmod them to be readable.
