When I go Site admin, then Watermarks and choose the Edit action, the page never finishes loading. I can not change settings or save them. IE locks up and I have to close it and start over.
Where does Gallery save the info such as which size photos to watermark?

any problem with other browsers?
i just fixed a bug in watermark edit with IE.. but this was just with positioning of the watermark image when the page loads; i don't see any problem with the page displaying. IE 6.0.2800.1106 on win2k.

I have not tried with any other browsers. I am using WinXP with IE 6.0.2800.1106.
Where does Gallery save the info such as which size photos to watermark? I could manually change the file if I knew where it was. Right now it is only adding watermarks to the thumbnail images and I cannot change it.

(Site admin | Your account) / Watermarks / edit has the defaults for each watermark (full size, resizes, thumbnail).
Edit photo / Watermark you can change which images are watermarked for that photo.

I understand how it is supposed to work, however when I go to Watermark/Edit, the page hangs and I cannot make changes or save.
I can edit watermarks on an individual photo. That works fine but it is too slow. I want to be able to add watermarks as I upload photos but the defaults are wrong and I cannot changes them.
Is it possible for me to edit the data manually? What is the file name where the watermark/edit defaults are stored?

i'm unclear why you want to manually edit things instead of using a browser that works... G2 uses a database so there isn't a file to edit..

Is Gallery not compatible with IE?

many consider IE "broken", but i'm saying your IE actually IS broken.. others don't have trouble with edit watermark in IE. and of course anytime any browser locks up and you must close it, the browser is not working correctly..

syotr,

I just donwloaded and installed the latest G2 via CVS today.

I too had the same issue. I would upload a watermark gif and my browser would hang. After killing my browser and going back in I would see my image uploaded but when I would try to edit it my browser would hang again. What I found the problem to be for me was the size of my watermark gif. I created a 75px by 75px and could do what ever I wanted with that one. My 640x400 on the other hand would kill my browswer.

Now what would be nice is if I could pick one watermark for each size image I generate or if the watermark would auto resize so the watermark would correspond in size to the image life would be nice.

Sorry, I spoke to soon. The image that worked earlier is now doing it. As I type this message I am waiting for my browser with Gallery running unlocks itself.
