embedded gallery stopped working

Hello, I have embedded gallery into mambo and it was working (embedded) flawlessley, until about 30 min ago, I can still veiw and create albums but when i want to edit albums names or edit photos i get an error "Gallery seems to be inside Mambo, but we couldn't get the necessary info."

running 1.5 rc2 inside mambo 4.5.1

I just had just installed phpgedview and the mambo component for it. dont really know if it is related or not. I uninstaled phpgedview but it did not change things.

any help would be greatly appreciated
