Left Column Removal

Where is the Welcome, Guest and links located at, Are they in sidebar.tpl? I've already set sidebar to false but it still has my left side extended and I want to utilize the rest of that space for the gallery.

Am I safe in assuming that the rest of the single page gallery information like when your viewing a picture here is edited in singleBody.tpl? I want to center the image and replace the Previous, Next text links with images.
