If a user uplaods pictures and wants to link them to another forum, how do I enable this and where does he pull the url for the pic?

Thank you.

- some forums don't allow all urls as image links. activate the G2 url rewrite module such that all image urls end on .jpg and similar extensions.
- you can get the url by right clicking on the image->copy image address (in most browsers).
- and there is a non-official G2 module "quick urls" that displays the image urls including bb code for forums. you can find the module here:
http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpWiki&file=index&pagename=G2%20-%20User%20Contributions

perhaps the module is already outdated.
more probably, your G2 is outdated. upgrade it to the most recent nightly snapshot version.
get the version from http://galleryupdates.jpmullan.com (current.gallery2.tar.gz).
