May I know if that is possible? That would give a more balanced audience to larger (e.g. 100+ photos?) albums. Thanks... |

how often would the order change? if it is random on every request then as you click "next page" you might see some photos you saw on the last page...

Probably in a per album view basis then. Once a viewer opens an album, the order is randomly generated and used throughout the album? That is a bit like the random playlist or even slideshow methods - the list is random, but is not so when every tune is played and repeated, and the next time you play it it is re-sffled.

Tricky, but possible.
We could write a new module that would let you randomize an album's order once a day or once an hour, etc. Either way, would you please file this as a feature request? Thanks!

Any news on this? (I know it's been quite a while, but having sort order set to random just still doesn't make sence if there are more than one page in an album.)
