Read the User Guide about FTP clients hiding "dot" files. There is directions to fix it in there.

please forgive me for making this post i know you guys are super busy so thats why i spent about 5 hours lastnight trying to fix the problem myself...but im having the same problem as webhost and i looked all over this place trying to find the ftp client part in the user guide.
maybe i overlooked something but id be so greatful if someone would guide me in the right direction. i would really appreciate it gallery is such a wonderful thing.
