Uploads with MSNTV internet device

I am a long time gallery user and supporter. I use it to maintain my family photos for relatives to view. I am running the latest, 1.5, release. I have three PCs on my LAN and have no problem uploading photos to my gallery installation with them. I am also a beta tester for the MSNTV set top box that Microsoft is replacing their Webtv with. It has a USB capability and can access images on a compact flash card reader. I am unable to upload any photos using the MSNTV device even though it appears to start the upload. I fear it may be a serious limitation of the MSNTV box itself. Has anyone else tried to upload photos with any success using an MSNTV internet box? |

I don't have cable so you know I don't have a MSNTV box....
Does the card reader become another drive? Can you move the images from the cardreader to the Harddrive of the settop box?

Hi Dave. Well, the MSNTV box does not show drives as such. You can access the card reader and the images on it but it is designed to be as non computer like as possible. So, there are no drives displayed. The interesting thing is that I was able to upload images to a commercial service, Flickr or PictureTrail, using the MSNTV. That is why I know it is possible to do. I am just not able to upload images to my Gallery site.
