Gallery 1.4.4 does not work with Mambo 4.5.1 or newer.

Pleas upgrade to Gallery 1.5

Ok... I'm confused.

There's no such file as 'embed.php' in Gallery, so I don't even know where you're getting this error message from.

Oh! I get it.

You installed the Gallery2 embedding component, not the Gallery 1 component.

You need to read the documentation in /gallery/contrib/mambo/

Hello,

This a description what you have to do to integrate Gallery 1.4.3+ into Mambo 4.5+

- Install Mambo // STEP 1

- Install Gallery // STEP 2

- Go to the Mambo component Management and "install" Gallery as a Mambo component.
Enter the directory that has the gallery.xml file in it
(eg. /home/mysite/public_html/gallery/contrib/mambo) // STEP 3

- Go into the component/gallery backend and fill in the location of the gallery component
(eg. /home/mysite/public_html/gallery) // STEP 4

- Specify the minimum Mambo admin level required to gain editor access to the gallery // STEP 5

- Edit your main menu and add a new Component item. Select Gallery from the list of available components. // STEP 6

Mambo should do all the work of generating the link for you.

Note: Gallery will use the Language corresponding to the Country Locale specified by Mambo.

well STEP 1 and 2 i've already done it..and it works fine alone..

after installing these two tools.. i downloaded the zipped file com_gallery2.zip (http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=download&id=1002)
and the mod_g2_sidebar.zip (http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=download&id=999).

then i logged in to my mambo admin panel..and installed the components and the modules with success.after that i made a new link to open the gallery component...

ok...for me everything seems to be done...

but when i click to that link...i get this error msg...

really dont know wat is wrong... :-o

signe, i'll be really thankful, if u can give me some more details..since i'm a newbee...

have a nice day..

Read what it says.
