1.3.1 vs 1.3debian3

hi there

i am running 1.3.1 at http://gallery.darb.net/ totally love the software.

however, a friend of mine is running a slight different install (an apt-get install i believe) and ive noticed when you view images on his gallery, you can click on 'photo properties' and then see all the embedded JPEG info like aperture, shutter speed, etc etc.

Can you tell me how I can turn on that feature in 1.3.1 (i downloaded from here instead of doing a package install as i am not running debian, unforunately)
