Gallery-1.4 style album hiding?

Hello, I upgraded to Gallery 1.5 a short while ago, and was hit by a bugfix. In Gallery 1.4, if I create a hidden album, any subalbums are still publicly viewable provided that the correct URL is given. This allowed me to create "semi-public" albums which are unlisted but do not require a password. In Gallery 1.5, this apparently has been fixed, and Gallery now knows that the subalbums should be password-protected. This caused all my semi-public albums to become password-protected, but I don't want to password-protect them; I just want to hide them. Would this be possible again in the future? Thanks. |

Nothing changed regarding hidden albums....?
I still use hidden albums extensively for the very reason you mention. Gallery doesn't have "password protected" albums. There are 'hidden' albums which are completely public, but not displayed on the page, and there are permissions restricted albums which require the user to be logged in to view.
