Do I have to have FFmpeg to be able to watch embedded movies? I'm using GD, which I guess won't do it, I've set the movie size but then it won't even let me download it as opposed to before.

no, you don't need ffmpeg.
do 'edit movie' and enter the dimensions for the movie.. then you can view it as an embedded object. if you do have ffmpeg it will determine the dimensions automatically, and make a thumbnail from the movie.

I did enter the dimensions, but it still wouldn't show up, does that mean I enter them wrong or something?

what type of movie is it? these types should display inline once you enter (and save) dimensions: mpeg, quicktime, avi, wmv
giving an url might help here...

OK, it's a .avi. Here's the url:
Gallery: http://watsonalgas.com.ru/gallery2
Movie Url: http://watsonalgas.com.ru/gallery2/v/album06/album03/Picture_086.avi.html
I'll have the pixel width and height set, so you probably won't be able to see anything. If you need me to set it to 0 so you can see the download link let me know.

that url works just fine for me (mozilla, quicktime is the browser plugin playing the avi). so this is an issue with your browser or browser plugin, not with G2...

You're right, thanks. I tried it with IE6 and it worked, now I have to find how to install QT plugin for Firefox. Thanks
