Installation errors on Network Solutions Server

I am haveing trouble installing Gallery version 1.4.4 - pl6 with netpbm version 1.4-pl2-freebsd-4.5

After completing 2 steps I receive 3 errors:

Error: Directory /usr/services/vux/apache/htdocs/gallery/albums does not exist. Please create it.

Error: Directory /usr/services/vux/apache/htdocs/gallery/tmp does not exist. Please create it.

Error: Could not find /usr/services/vux/apache/htdocs/netpbm/pnmtojpeg. Check your NetPBM directory to see which PNG->JPEG converter you have (or just try using ppmtojpeg instead). Please check your configuration (or use ImageMagick).

Each directory is created.

The server is using Apache 4.3.10 Unix. My server provider is Network Solutions.

All directories live under the htdocs directory.

Any thoughts as to how I can rectify this?

I am using IE6 browser on an XP platform.
