Everything is really smooth so far except for new themes installation. I dropped some of the user customized themes (silver/black/greymatter) into the themes folder for G2 after I unpacked them. Yet nothing shows up for the gallery theme selection. Any tips, besides CHMOD ? |

those themes may be out of date.. check if the dir structure looks the same or different.. (theme.css in the right place?)

thanks for replying to 3 of my questions in the same day, mindless. dir structure looks right. that was the first thing I checked...the themes i got were posted in the wiki >> development section. if they ARE in fact out of date, could I edit something to make them compatible with the latest G2 beta? Thanks

well, you can move the css file around to make the theme selectable.. however, the css structure of the UI has changed significantly since the older contributed themes were written, so they probably won't appear quite as intended even if you get the files in the right place.

yeah it was a matter of moving around couple files into the right dir and playing around with the .css file. thanks for support thou

d3vlabs - can you tell me what you changed please? I'm trying to test greymatter. Have unzipped and permission seem the same as the existing directories but it does not appear in gallery admin.
