Thumbnails wont open

Ok this is a new install from todays CVS, I am new to all this so please be apteint with me :)

Anyway I used publish to web to upload a heap of pics, the thumb nails show up but when I click on one the page can not be found. But what I find unusal is that the slideshow will work
Any suggestions?

please fill out the support template.
are you using rewrite module? maybe uninstall, reactivate that module.

nah.. found out the problem I had;nt up the memory to 16 meg as recommended. But in saying that gallery2 is now also using all of 16 meg should this be

The GD toolkit can use that much memory easily. If you don't have much memory to allocate, don't use GD or make it a low priority.
