1.5 Dynamic Watermarking ?

In one of Jade's latest "Great Feats" we have come across an issue. I was wanting to watermark my images and we were thinking that G1.5 did dynamic; but, it doesn't. Is there a fairly painless hack to do somewhere to allow for dynamic watermarking?

Reason: I am wanting the webview to be watermarked but at the same time, I want to be able to retrieve the images from FTP without the mark because I have requests from time to time by sponsors for photos of certain people they're looking for or people they already sponsor - for promotional items.

It's a good thing we noticed that it was permenantly placing the watermarks on the images before I got too far in uploading.

A G1 solution might be to water mark only the thumbs and sized images. You could then leave the full size images unmarked and either deal with people viewing them or remove view permissions for anonymous guests.

"Dynamic" watermarking isn't really realistic because it would make every page load super damn slow. What G2 really does is ALWAYS keep a copy of the original image unmodified and then generates new images based on situations where they are needed. So if you choose to watermark all image for anonymous guests but NOT logged in users, you will end up with double the number of image cached. All of these images are created WHEN NEEDED though, so until someone views them... they don't exist. But that said, they aren't ever automatically delete themselves either.

Hi, I have G2 already,but my problem is this: I need sign of all my image od the server,which are already uploaded,and second question is..
how can I put my watermarks in to the files,which I m importing(uploading) in the packet (usually through WIN XP uload.manager (Explorer) (not like 4 attach..(usually I have 100-200pcs of fotos)
Is it posible??Can it G2 make??
