htaccess file yahoo

Did anyone ever find a solution for using Gallery on Yahoo. I was looking to use a gallery on my sight and asked Yahoo for a suggestion. Below is there reply. Thus, I am little ticked off that they do not allow an .htaccess file to be loaded to there server (not supported is the warning). I sent back an email tonight so I am curious on there response. Either the rep was misinformed or there is a workaround. I'm hoping you have a solution.
