We have just released Beta 1.2 of this plugin, and are making good progress torward a Beta 2 release

Here are a few demo sites that are running the plugin, they are stock nightly installs of wordpress gallery2 and the plugin:

There are also many other users that are successfully running G2 embedded into wordpress and you can find them here: WPG2 Embedded

Recent updates include a quasi matrix/sirux layout and template, much better compatibility with url rewrites, support for a wider range of installation locations, cleaner code and various other bug fixes!

What does the plugin Do?

Seemless intergration between WP and G2, sharing User Accounts, Sharing Permission Groups. Ability to post Photos, Albums into Blog Entries. Same look of WP giving the impression of one application. Plus all the standard features of G2 and WP, just brought together under one roof. Also included is a new G2 template and layout specificly designed for Wordpress users (Think of it as a mix of the sirux and matrix layouts)

You can download the plugin from the download section of the community boards, OR you can get the subversion release.

It would be great if you could also show a demo link to an embedded WPG2.

All I can say is - WOW!

I was just dumping my old gallery software today, and checked to see if anyone had done any more with integration. I can't wait to get this in and running! :)
