Hiya - Is there any way I can stop the admin of the server my site is based on seeing the pictures? Probably not, but I'm new to this and I'm just working everything out. Cheers. |

G1: no, G2: to some degree, but actually, no.
an admin (root) can always access all files in the filesystem. so if he wants to, he can take a look at your pics anytime he wants to.
this has nothing to do with gallery. as long as the images are stored on a server where someone else has root access, this somebody can access your images.

The server admin would not be an admin if there were restrictions placed on what he could and could not see ;)
