Most recent entry as highlight

I wish to highlight the most recent entry for each album. Is this possible?

i wonder what to switch on in gallery 2.2.4
i'd like the most recent photo (or the most recent upload (i know it's not the same)) be the highlight of my album

Under edit photo, select "Highlight".

but it's not really what i want, beacause i would have to select "highlight" again and again each time a new photo is added
i'm pretty sure the default behaviour of gallery is this way, and would like to revert the "mistake" i made one day, choosing a specific photo
