error from within mambo as component on launching popup

I have an install inside photos folder next to my mambo install folder called mambo. All is well just when a user has access to make changes to his her images and clicks to do so the popup has the following error. I herd it was associated with my using localhost and that this would go if live?
I cant test this however and would hope someone out there could reassure me.

Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): http://localhost/photos/
Gallery version: 1.5
Apache version: Apache/2.0.50 (Win32) PHP/5.0.0
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): Apache/2.0.50 (Win32) PHP/5.0.0
Graphics Toolkit: imageMagick
Operating system: windows xp pro
Web browser/version (if applicable): i.e 6 and firefox

It's the same issue you're dealing with. If we can keep everybody together, we have a better chance of getting this thing fixed :D
