Howdy,

I installed G2 on my test postnuke site http//test.fishgeeks.com and imported my g1 gallery.

It all works fine out of postnuke, but I can't seem to load the gallery through postnuke.

What should the URL be to load the gallery through postnuke? Is there anything I need to do to tell gallery that it is embedded?

TIA,

Sean

i don't know how well the postnuke integration works at the moment.
but you should certainly do the g1 import first, and then the postnuke integration, not the other way around.
the g1 import imports users from g1 to g2. postnuke doesn't know anything about the existence of the new g1 users when you integrate it before you do the import.

but i'm not sure if this has anything to do with your problem.

did the g2/postnuke work before you did the import?

G2 works if I go directly to it. IE: http://test.fishgeeks.com/modules/gallery/

But if I try to go to it through the postnuke URL http://test.fishgeeks.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=gallery&file=index it fails.

mbuna, so it has nothing to do with G1 import, right?

moving the topic to the integrations forum.

Correct, nothing to do with import. Thanks for moving it to the right forum.

mbuna, i'd say you haven't configured / installed the postnuke module / g2 integration correctly.

Valiant,

I was reading the thread from your sig. Is that implying that G2 will never natively integrate with postnuke and we will have to use pngallery2 instead?

No, that means that there was someone working on the pn integration months ago and then was never seen again.
But there seems to progress again. You should monitor this thread:
