Mambo + G2 upload component failed

Hi all,

Recently I've installed mambo 4.5.2.3 + the latest G2 beta3. Installing this component worked > however the "integration" between both failed, because I could not upload the component gallery.zip
uploading results in >>>File /mnt/data/mysite/media/install_42bbb2cfbab4b/mambo/gallery2.php does not exist!<<<

I installed mambo in
/mnt/data/mysite/
gallery2 in
/mnt/data/mysite/components/gallery2
> all this is done on a recent gentoo-linux server
Apache/2.0.52 (Gentoo/Linux) DAV/2 SVN/1.1.3 PHP/4.3.11 mod_ssl/2.0.52 OpenSSL/0.9.7e Server at mysite.*** Port 80

Now I also want an integration of G2 and mambo. So I install the latest snapshot of the gallery.zip, found on this forum ...

Can anybody indicate what could have gone wrong?

the zip you downloaded might be containing modules and a readme plus the component zip. first unpack then try the zip files inside.
