Update Gallery 1.x to G2b3 how to remove "Update"

Hi,

sorry for the very stupid question, but how can I remove this boring square with "Updated" text above every album or Photo?

Deactivate the New items module, or reduce the time in New items Site Admin for how long "updated" is shown.
