is there a chance, to embed G2 into Mambo without mirroring users or login??
My idea is that a few Websites share the same gallery and every website logs into gallery with an own username. In other words:
You host one G2 with album A and album B and 2 websites (A and B).
If G2 is called from website A...user only see Album A,
and if G2 is called from Website B..users only see Album B.
Gallery has 2 Users, A is allowed to access album A and B is allowed to access album B. So if website B calls gallery it should automatically (by URL etc.) login as User B into gallery. I dont know how to explain it better than you can read here :lol:
This functionality could be add in integrations code.
So the Admin of any site could set the login-user in admin interface.
Does anybody know what iI mean??

why not use 2 different G2 installs? what's the advantage?
with g2's multisite feature you save the space that the gallery2 folder needs for the second install.
and mindless described in another forum post a few days ago a "multiroot" feature which could be used here.
