First off a huge round of applause and thanks to the development team. After being tremendously disatisfied with Coppermine's ability to embed seamlessly in a design, I stumbled upon Gallery. You have finally given me what I was for in image gallery software. Congratulations and keep up the great work. I have solved all the problems I ran into to date (mostly because I created them through error on my part...!) but I have one that I am now confident is not me and while it may not truly qualify as a bug, it is definitely is an incompatability with another module. The gallery image module works fine with all other components, modules and mambots that I have tried with the sole exception of awesom!, the amazon web services module (http://mamboforge.net/projects/awesom/). Whenever a link or menu item calling to the awesom! module is made, as the page loads, it stop at the image block location and the following error is generated: Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'SMARTY_CORE_DIRcore.load_plugins.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /hsphere/local/home/XXXX/g2data/smarty/templates_c/%%3583934620/%%0A^0AF^0AF71D0C%%ImageBlock.tpl.php on line 3 Again the same installation of mod_gallery_block 2.3 works with all other links and menus generated by Mambo modules, except awesom!. I have tried clearing caches (template and database both in gallery and mambo, as it appears to be a cached template file and a relative path issue, but no joy. it is absolutely consistent and very, very repeatable. I am stumped and have no more ideas up my sleeves. I have unpublished the live Amazon elemenst from the site for obvious reasons, but if someone wants to see the behavior live, drop me a line and I can set it up so it can be witnessed in person for a few hours or something. In the meantime, I'm hoping the Dev team can offer a fix because I hate the idea of dropping the image blocks from some pages just to generate the amazon links. Thanks in advance. |
