i have several pages of photos that show this error. the text for LAST PICTURE and the ARROW symbol to move the the next picutre overlap. check it out on my mambo integration here: |

nope, i guess it's correct as it is.
for the second last item, we don't show the "next" link, we only show the "last" link, because last = next in this case.
tested on your site with IE and FF.
if you think something looks weird, please tell us in what browser on what OS.

the problem is most of my images have this not just the second to last image. i am using mac os x 10.4.2 and safari AND camino.
here is a screen shot of the problem (notice the overlap):

ah, safari/camino.
and do you have the same issue in G2 standalone or only in g2 / mambo?

just checked. same issue in both.

please create a bug on http://sf.net/projects/gallery/
with the title [G2] safari css issue with next/last links
and add a link to this topic in the bug description.
also make sure you point out this is a standalone issue with the original, unmodified matrix theme.

I put up a minimal test case that shows the problem in safari: http://moshpit.org/quirksmode/safari_float.html
We should be able to work around this by removing whitespace.
