Hi all!

I want to secure a single album-folder in order to be only accessible by specified users (eg. ./albums/specialpix). to do so i created a user group in the admin-page menu. but then when ppl accessed my specialpix-folder with their userpass i noticed that there was on option for them to change the password, which was not my intention. and i could'nt find a way how to prevent them from being able to change the password.

so it came to my mind to put an .htaccess-file within the specialpix folder so that the webserver could ask them for a pass. but there is no chance to put files into these album-folders. (i think this is an gallery-internal solution of giving privileges, because i cant change the privileges for these folders myself).

Does anybody have an idea how to put .htaccess files in created albums (respectively album folders that are created for each new album)?

thanks in advance!
