PNG TRANSPARENCY

Hello,

I have a problem with G2.

Everytime I upload transparency PNGs the Gallery makes bad Thumbnails.

The Background with is transparency in the orginal goes black.

How can i change it, that it goes transparency oder white?

For example this PNG has trnasparency...

Most programs make a black background, when you open it. except PS that works great with PNG...

i used the png you supplied:

imagemagick -> correct thumbnails, perfect transparency.

netpbm -> black background, no transparency

GD -> black background, no transparency

please file a bug with this information. http://sf.net/projects/gallery/ . thanks!

But I don't have ImageMagick in the adminmenu on the left, since there was an error :( We'll I can't make this Bug-Thing, cannot Log-In @ SF.net, cause there are Cookie problems, but I have enabled them :(. Trying the same tommorrow and
I'll seek for the LOST ImageMagick ;)

FYI: We've fixed the transparency issues with the GD module for G2 in G2.3 (next nightly snapshot of G2.3).
