Hello,
have installed mambo 4.5.2 and Gallery2 RC1 (multisite) offline on Apache2. Both work fine. Now I installed the newest Gallery integration Component in mambo and have a problem with the "Full server path to Gallery G2" like many people before. I read many posts here but nothing could solve my problem.
In the field "Full Path to Gallery G2" I enter the server-path of my gallery-folder: C:\apachefriends\xampp\htdocs\kai This is one of my multisites. But then I allways get the error "Full path to Gallery2 is inorrect!" My main-multisite is: C:\apachefriends\xampp\htdocs\gallery2 but in that site I am not running my gallery, it is just the "root" for the other multisites. I have also tried to enter that path, but I allways get the same error.
What can I do? Does the mambo integration work with multisite G2?

I'm was using the full gallery 2 but when installing RC1 I decided to do a multisite installation. I renamed my old gallery2 folder and installed the multisite code to another website on the same server and setup the multisite instance where the old gallery2 was. I didn't have to change any component settings for it to work.

- you have to enter the path to the multisite, not the path to the codebase. so what you first tried was ok.
- changing a normal install to a multisite needs some steps which are not yet documented.
- a multisite install needs embed.php, index.php, main.php, upgrade/index.php, but these are not normal files, these are special versions of these files. you can't just copy the files from your codebase to your multisite.
