Here's my two (Canadian) two cents -- for what it's worth!
I'm glad you got this forum up and running. I'm not a big fan of mailing lists personally and I think this forum will be a big asset to getting Gallery out in the public eye even more than it already is. I'd rather search thru forum threads and FAQ's for answers than subscribe to mailing lists, which can get rather large and unruly at times.
Thank you for all the work you've put into both the program and this forum. I'll try to help out whenever I see a question I know the answer to. (can't afford to make a donation yet, but hope to soon).
Regards,

Thanks, PixelPoet. It's always nice to hear from a happy user.
I'm hoping that the search capability in the forums will help people to help themselves so that I can spend less time answering help requests and more time working on G2

What about upgrading this forum to phpBB2 or Xforum.org? This will provide all search that you need and security update too.

phpBB2 won't integrate with PostNuke, which is a necessity.
We evaluated XForum but it came up lacking. I'm not sure why -- I didn't do the evaluation myself; jackodog did it.

bharat,
phpbb2 absolutely runs in postnuke, though I'm not using it but I know some sites, like www2.postnuke.com and postcalendar.
xforum is also an excellent forum ... work well in postnukes... ex. wardriving.info, xforum.org runs in postnuke.
hope this help justify using phpbb or xforum ....
cheers,

Hey neat, I didn't know about www2.postnuke.com.
Do you know where I can find a copy of phpBB2 as a PostNuke 0.71 compliant module?

You need to use the latest release of phpBB due to some security issue. I suggest you upgrade postnuke to v.72-fenix or wait for v.8 coming out soon.
Yeah, www2.postnuke.com is really cool. They did a good job. I am also active supporter of postnuke community and also phpnuke (my first cms).
