Need help with adding pictures via URL method ...

not quite sure if this is the right spot to post this so please let me know if I need to repost to a different area ...

while on vacation I FTPd about 1500 pictures to the Gallery's 'upload' directory and now I can't seem to get the URL correct when I try to add pictures using the URL method. What format should the URL be if the the Gallery URL is http://www.iaaf-gallery.com/FamilyAlbums/

If I use just 'upload' I get the following message:

Fetching Urls...
Processing upload as a local directory.
Processing status...

but nothing is happening.
