Is that possible to have Gallery to include other "order photo from" sources (other than shutterfly.com)? I live in canada, and there is no point to order from shutterfly since I can get a cheaper and faster service from futurephoto.com.

Sure it's possible!

Bharat has just added in code for a German company, Fotokasten, for version 1.3.4, and someone else is working on yet another company. Are you willing to do some research and do the coding yourself? It's just a matter of copying the basic code over (use the latest CVS code). If you'd rather not put it in, I'll do some investigation for you. Once it's implemented, Bharat can then contact the company and see if they'll give Gallery a small cut of the price (which Shutterfly and Fotokasten do).

I've contacted them via email and asked if they'd be interested in setting up a service similar to Shutterfly's. I'll keep you posted. :smile:

I would like to have someone help with support for photoworks.com. They have really excellent prices. They are located here in the US.

Please have someone tell me what I need to approach them with the idea? What will they need on their end to support Gallery, if anything? I am not a coder, but will contact them and introduce them to gallery.

Do you have any special requirements, or disclosure agreements, etc?

In fact... just about the only thing that DOESN'T fly in open source software is non-disclosure. :wink:

Sure... if you think they're equipped to have a similar service... you can approach them and see if they want to get involved. Send me an e-mail, and I'll send you all the gory details on what we need on the Gallery end in order to make it work. (Okay... it's not that gory, but I'll spare us here in the forum).

Update on Futurephoto.com: I'll keep you all posted on the progress... we're still sorting some things out. If it does happen, it could be a little while. Again, e-mail me if you want more details.
