I have reinstalled Gallery, updated Gallery, deleted + reinstalled PGthemes latest version, however still unable to get PGthemes to install.

I do not get an ACTIVATE option only an INSTALL. And when I click the install, I get page not found with this error.

can’t open the page “http://webserver/gallery2/main.php?g2_controller=core.AdminThemes&g2_themeId=PGtheme&g2_form%5Baction%5D%5Binstall%5D=1&g2_navId=xbb37a1b7

You phpinfo page doesn't come through here at all. Please follow the directions here, http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:faq#What_information_is_required_when_I_ask_for_help_in_the_forums.3F to create a phpinfo file.

For some reason it appears to think your webserver is here, http://webserver/ not at http://tucker.dynip.com/

Are you doing these changes through http://tucker.dynip.com or through http://webserver/ locally?

Try this through http://tucker.dynip.com and let us know if that works.

Ok, I created the PHP file as instructed.

Your help is appreciated.

I have tried both locally (on a mac + PC both connected to my home network that has the RH webserver on it) + remotely from my work.

so more specifically, regardless of where I try, I always put in http://tucker.dynip.com/gallery2 however if i am on my local network it maps to http://webserver/

both ways I get the same error, now its stuck in install and I get the message above, looking for an install stage.

thank you

Now, when I click on your link, http://tucker.dynip.com/gallery2 it tries to send me to "webserver"

There was someone else having a similar problem with the same sort of setup. Theyr problem wasn't with the theme, but with the fact they had setup "locally" and "remotely".

Please review this thread, http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=33178&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Though I don't know if there was an official solution or not.

But your problem does stem from setting up from two different URLs. Maybe try disabling the URL Rewrite module if you have it installed.
