Hi, Had a few issues. First, if I specify "Full size images viewable", then they are still viewable. Secondly the JPEGs that are served up are truncated or totally screwed up. Does anyone know whats going on. I have plenty of issues like this, with some corruption being worse. See here for the two photos illustrating the issue: http://www.geocities.com/ajmas/images/gallery2/ ---- |

are you saying G2 created the corrupt image? you linked to just some image files, not to G2...
please describe step by step what you did in G2, what you expected to happen and what actually happened.

Yes I am saying it is spitting out corrupted JPEG files. Not sure why. I provided the two files so you could see and hopefully to reduce the load on my server. Follows is the web server, so you can check out for yourselves:

This computer is only on between 9am-23:49 EST
It is not the fastest computer around - maybe that is the issue?

so, the step by step process you took to see this behavior just involved spitting? hm..

I think my problem is probably either with a slow computer or a badly configured web server.
If I click on a thumbnail the image page gets displayed, but in some case the image is truncated. The problem gets worse with larger images. All my images were uploaded using the "From Local Server" option. One thing I noticed is if I view the images in the cache, using the local file system the images look fine. At the same time if try looking at the same cached imaged via http://.../gallery2/g2data/cache they have trouble showing up. One interesting difference between the two approaches is that when gallery serves up the image I get data out of order in certain cases, but when I am going straight to the cache, I simply get the image truncated - in the latter case with Firefox if I refresh the page I eventually get the whole image.
Any suggestions as to how to tune my server?
