Admin was locked out of gallery2. Guest account not working

After the update this morning the admin account was locked out as well as guest. I was able to get back in since I know alot about mySQL and have access to the server.

How do I get the Guest account working? Was this the work of a hacker?

UPDATE: Got everything working again... Not really sure what the cause was.

not sure about it either.
what exactly was the issue?
you tried to login and it said username / password not ok?
or did you get no feedback at all upon login requests? then it was just a cookie issue...
