Hide/Show Debug Tree

I would like to hide the link to "Show Debug Tree" in the side bar,
or at least hide it from everyone except gallery admins...

Does anyone have an idea how to do this - maybe by setting permissions?
I use the Classic theme so I had a look there but there is no sign of the
debug tree in the block options...

Looking at the above link, its tempting to delete it from main.php, but I think it
should be possible to switch a show/hide debug tree option iether in the 'theme' or
in 'edit album'

do you actually use the debug tree? i've never used it and i code for g2, lol.

i'd just deactivate and uninstall the debug module.

Good sugestion! Did that, and then discovered that it also helps a bit if I log out 'admin' user and log in as an ordinary member or guest...
The great thing about making dumb mistakes is you feel good when you finally get things right!

My next challenge is customizing G2 - starting with changing the Gallery logo which I could only do by renaming one of my pics to galleryLogo_sm.gif which seems really clumsy... surely there must be a simple way to do this, and I want at least to add some text alongside the logo - not being ambitious here - but I just cannot figure out how to do this - I have done a lot of forum searching for customizing topics but cant find anything useful at my level.

Maybe you could point me in the right direction - I am not frightened to have a go - just need a way in... any help would be much appreciated!
