custom thumbnail

Hi

Dunno if this is the right place for this question.

But I'm looking for a way to upload pictures to gallery
And be able to make a cutout from the picture wich will be
used for the thumbnail.
fi draw a square on the picture, wich will be used for
generating the thumbnail.

Anyone knows if this can be done by something out there?

Is this different from the already built in choose thumbnail function? I enable the square thumbnail option, and if I take edit each picture, I can select what area I want to be the thumbnail.
