"Broken" thumbnail after deleting pictures via FTP

Hi,
unfortunately I uploaded some pictures three times and they've been inserted into my album.
I didn't find a function for bulk delete within the gallery, so I decided to delete them on the webserver (they were clearly visible, because gallery named them *_001.jpg and *_002.jpg)

But now I'm still having the thumbnails in my album, it still counts 255 elements (although 70 got deleted).
I've tried to rebuild/resize all thumbnails - no luck.

How can I get rid of theses thumbs?
Do I have to delete them manually?

Thank you,
Boby

If you had simply selected "delete item" from the drop down list under the thumb you would have seen a list of about 10-15 mini-thumbs and check boxes to pick which ones you want to delete. Probably the best way to recover is to copy files back to the names of your missing files then use the built in gallery method.

You shouldn't really be messing with data in /g2data/

Like Gallery? Appreciate my help? Think I'm an asshole? Make your point by donating to the Gallery project! Or maybe just visit my website.

Thank you,
I forgot about that - I thought "delete" only means one picture.
However, I had to delete the whole album and uploading it again, to get rid off the mess.

Thanks,
Boby
