Just converted from G1 to G2. Have questions.

My site is www.johnricard.com 1) Where is the file that I change if I want to change the words on the page like, "Gallery" and "This is your Gallery Home Page". I thought it was an "index" file, but I can't find it using my ftp program. Can someone tell me the exact name and where to look for this file? 2) How do I make it so only logged in users can view certain albums? I want only ONE album "Portraits" to be visible to non logged in users. All the rest I want to be visible only to logged in users. However, I cannot find where I set the "Viewing permissions" for albums in G2. It was easy to find in G1. 3) How can I get rid of the "views" information at the bottom of each image and gallery? |

1) browse to your g2, click "edit album", change the title, summary, etc.
2) click "edit permissions", and remove "view all versions" from the everybody group.
then add "view all versions" to the Registered users group.
then create your portraits album, browse to it, click "edit permissions" and add "view all versions" to the everybody group.
3) see the g2 customization forum, this has been asked a couple of times. and maybe ask for adding this information to the how to section on codex.gallery2.org.
