Why doesn't the Comment module have an "unused hook" for CSS for the ItemInfo Summary like date, owner, size, etc do? See this page http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:CSS_Reference#Unused_Hooks and this thread http://gallery.menalto.com/node/35327#comment-136085 That user's problem could've easily been solved if there was that type of "hook" for "Comments:" Also, I noticed that these "hooks" are not used in the Random Image blocks. Is this a "bug" or more of a feature request to make this more consistent? |

if you submit a patch, we can get it in quickly. else i'd say it's a feature request.

I'll see what I can do. I looked at it briefly and this piece of text is created in module.inc of the comments module and not in a template where a change like this would be super easy
Ah, I think I got it. I can pretty much copy how it's done with the newitems module. I was looking at editing ItemInfo.tpl though for a better fix, but couldn't figure out how to pull the info I wanted out of the summaries array:
itemSummaries => Array (1)
comment => Comments: 1
I want to grab the name "comment" not the value of "comment". Then this could be a more permanent fix and each module wouldn't have to be coded just to include this little CSS hook.
I'll work on it tonight.
