Hello,

I'm a novice when it comes to apache and the webserver. Gallery 2 was really easy to install and configure even for me.

1. How can I find out which users logged in, what pictures they looked at, what files they uploaded?
2. How can I create default permissions for albums that I create. I'm using my gallery for family photos, so I don't want it public.
3. Any other suggestions to make it easy as pie for my mom to upload pictures? Gallery Remote?

Thanks for the great work,
Bryan.

1) There is not statistics module for G2 yet. You can vote for it at http://gallery.menalto.com/sfvote

2) Currently you can't do that, I believe there is a feature request for that as well. However, if you set the permissions you want on the top album any album you create under that will inherit those permissions and settings by default. Just click on Edit Permissions for the album
EDIT: Well, I lied a little bit, you can set default permissions, but you have to edit a core file. It was discussed previously, you can search and try to find it, it was several months ago.

3) Personally, I like the Browser Upload Method for ease of use. I think GR or even the Upload Applet is a bit much for non-tech users, that and I don't care for them myself :)
