It would be really great to have a kind of user-friendly G2 online translation tool, since G2 Russian translation at the moment is really awful.

I'm exploring G2 as general user, and have no direct access to *nix-based server machine - so, for me it's not too easy installing and using localization tools like gettext and gmake, although I'd like to make russian translation myself.
(As I see it - just straightforward translation of .po and .mo files locally every time the language files changes - is not an effective way of true localization and doesn't give much to other G2 users and its community.)

Is it foreseen to arrange any online translation tool for G2 in the future? Or, is there any other way (tools) to arrange up-to-date G2 localization (translation) on windows-based local (client) machine, which I ordinarily use for internet-access at my place?

Thank you for understanding.

no, there's nothing planned. but we can discuss it of course.

i'll move this topic to the translation forum, since even if the forum is under the g1 category, it's meant for g1 and g2.
