I wish I could EASILY change Gallery2's use of the word PHOTO to something else.

I implemented a King Kong Fan Art Gallery on KongisKing.net

The gallery contains ~550 pieces of art - written word, paintings, photos of sculptures, etc.

One annoying thing is that the word PHOTO is used everywhere, and changing it would be a real hassle. I wish I could have a single place where the word PHOTO/PHOTOS/etc. could be changed.

Gallery2 is a program useful for storing images and information for many purposes. Using the word PHOTO everywhere (including in your banner "Your Photos on Your Website") limits the perceived functional use of your product.

Also check out the artwork. I am no artist, but what has been placed there - some of it is stunning. :)

search and replace is pretty easy :-)
else file a feature request and vote for it.

In this program, searching and replacing "photo" is akin to searching and replacing the word "the". :D

But I take your point :)

Just wondering if you ever had any luck finding an easy way to do this?

I was toying with the idea of creating a separate language file that would do the translation to something different where the word PHOTO is but it seems like a long way to go to get what I need.
