Delete all albums in Gallery 2 after converting from 1.5

Hello, I just upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0.1 and made a mistake over and over again when importing my albums. Since I kept getting truncation errors, I tried several times to import my 1.5 galleries with different mappings for the fields. However, unbeknownst to me, it created those albums 5 separate times. I have attempted to delete the extra albums but I get an error that says access is restricted. I also tried using gallery remote 1.5 to look at it, and it says that most or all of my albums are read only. I tried via the shell to chmod the gallery directory to 777, but it still will not let me delete my extra albums. Can you guys give me some suggestions? I'm ok with deleting all the existing albums and re-importing my gallery 1.5 albums. I just need to figure out how to do it ;-) Thanks! camimenko Gallery version = 2.0.1 core 1.0.0.1 |

why not start with a fresh g2? might be the easiest solution.
run the installer again, choose "erase" in step 5 (database) of the installer.
once finished, import the g1 albums again.
also, don't forget to run the find_orphans tool of g1 before importing into g2.

hi valiant.
I had considered that, I just didn't want to spend another hour re-running it. Find orphans was taken care of and I'm ready to roll. I was able to delete my old installation very easily with step 5. Thanks so much!
