I was just playing around with all the nice new options in Gallery2 after updating from the original version. One feature I saw under "Edit Album"->"Theme" that sounded interesting was "Show micro navigation thumbnails" so I checked the box. I was not exactly sure what it did so thought I'd see. As far as I can tell there is no change. I thought it might show thumbnails of the previous & next pics when viewing the current one. Maybe the thumbnails displayed by default in the album are these "micro navigation thumbnails"? I searched the forums, faq & support section but cannot figure out exactly what this is supposed to do & how to activate it if it's not. Thanks for your help! ~KentyMac |

that's exactly what it does.
notes:
- do not change the settings in edit album -> theme
- rather change them in site admin -> themes, else you'll wonder why global changes won't take effect in the albums that you locally changed

Let me try it under "Site Admin" instead of "Edit Album"...

That worked beautifully - thanks!!!
But I must say it's a little confusing that it doesn't work under "Edit Album", apparently even within that album.
Regardless, I'm glad it's working now!
