Module Checkout - translation FRENCH -

Hello,

I do not find the infos "add... to cart" in the Po (modules/checkout/po), they are in the module "cart" file Po (modules/cart/po), however this module is desactivé? I does not include/understand for translation French.

the checkout module is an unofficial G2 module.
most unofficial G2 modules are not (yet) translated.
you cannot use translations of other modules for the checkout module.

we'll have to organise translations in a better way such that translators also translate unofficial modules.
but for now, you'll have to live with an untranslated checkout module.

Dear Valiant,

The 3 modules "checkout" into French, it I translated misses I just "add..the car" which I do not find in this module. I puts has the provision of the community when I finished: -)

I've writing the translation fr_FR.po for thi unofficial module.

I've make install PO=fr

Compilation is ok, but no change in my site :(.

Hi,
I'd like a french version of the 3 Checkout modules for my visitors. I have started translating the first module. As my first tests failed, I'm here. But this thread let me doubting. And before going farther in my work I have to know : Do you mean I can't, on my own at first, translate Checkout for my site ?

As mtcocktail I successfuly install PO=fr and got the
checkout/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/modules_checkout.mo
right compiled.

But on my site but no change appearant. Any news ?

you need to restart the webserver after updating the mo files. (because gettext is cached that way)
