It's not very clear what happening when new version is released... So, now 2.0.1 released.
After it I'm translating it (to Russian). Done. Imagine, I upload it and it goes only in CVS version in the nearest time. Right? Will be additional language pack to 2.0.1 release?

Next, we foresee 2.1 and there are aldear plenty updates with po files. where should I take po files to be ready ru_ru/LCm/*.mo and *.po to the release to be included there?

The thing I can't understand that
1. how to syncronize the po file I'm editing with the po files that are updating every day on cvs?
2. how to be included with final translation in the release if I can't edit anything before it is not done in English?

little add. question, sorry for off-top: if I install cvs in /gallery2, then moved it up, will be it no problem with further updates? Because I change dir, but some files in CVS hae a sing about my /gallery2 dir that doesn't exist.

no one answered, so I put russian localization here:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1368190&group_id=7130&atid=582564
and wait what will happen next. I still do not know how to make localization BEFORE the new version should be released.

- obviously you found out how to submit translations, since you posted yours at https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=7130&atid=582564 .

- G 2.0.1 and G 2.0.2 are security patch releases, no new features, bug fixes, translations, .. were added, just 1, 2 security holes were fixed.

- in G 2.1, the next official releaae, all new translations / translation updates will be included (or be available as downloadable language packs, we'll see).

- generally: just submit your translations to the translation tracker on sf.net and mindless or another dev will commit it to g2 from time to time.

The next official release will have new line that were not in 2.0.1. I submitted 2.0.1 but I don't know how to submit 2.1 before you release it. I don't know when to start translate changes between 2.1 and 2.0.1.

get the nightly snapshot of g2 and translate the nightly snapshot. this is the most up to date what you can get.

before G 2.1, we'll have release candidates where we change nearly nothing but some bugfixes. you'll then have time (3 weeks ++) to finish all translation strings and submit an up to date version of the translation.

@which time:
there's no specific time. it will be done in time.
