No BACK button in Hybrid Theme?

hi,
is it just me or is there no back button functionality in the hybrid theme? i tried the newest one 1.0.2 and the stable release 1.0.0...
The back button just brings me back to the page before the gallery.. when i change to matrix theme it's allright.
