Search Problem - Errors When Not Logged In

I am experiencing a simialr problem as found in the folloiwng forum post:

However, upgrading gallery to its newest version (and then again re-transferring for good measure) does not solve the issue. I have doubled back to be assured all of the directories and files are CHMODDED to the correct permissions as well.

The error I recieve is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function canReadRecurse() on a non-object in /usr301/home/t/h/thanford/public_html/gallery/classes/Album.php on line 2185
